MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) _ KVH Industries Inc. (KVHI) on Thursday reported a loss of $6.2 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Middletown, Rhode Island-based company said it had a loss of 36 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and amortization costs, were 17 cents per share.
The maker of mobile communication and navigation equipment posted revenue of $40 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in July, KVH expects its results to range from a loss of 2 cents per share to earnings of 1 cent per share.
The company expects full-year results to range from a loss of 7 cents per share to earnings of 17 cents per share.
KVH shares have declined 5% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 7% in the last 12 months.
