MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) _ KVH Industries Inc. (KVHI) on Thursday reported a loss of $1.3 million in its second quarter.
The Middletown, Rhode Island-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 3 cents per share.
The maker of mobile communication and navigation equipment posted revenue of $43.4 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in October, KVH expects its per-share earnings to range from 3 cents to 7 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $43 million to $45 million for the fiscal third quarter.
KVH expects full-year earnings in the range of 12 cents to 28 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $166 million to $180 million.
KVH shares have increased 22 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 17 percent in the last 12 months.
