Kylie Jenner knows you only turn 21 once, which is apparently why she made the celebration last as long as she could. The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters officially rang in her birthday on Friday, August 10, but her Barbie-inspo b-day party started Thursday night — and was already in full swing by the time the clock struck midnight on her special day. It was in such full swing, in fact, that there was only one way for it to stop: the police were reportedly called to send everybody home at 2 a.m.
According to a source, Page Six reports, everyone was having so much fun in honor of Kylie that they weren't ready to leave when the nightclub closed at 2 a.m. Since that's when California law requires bars to stop selling alcohol and shut down for the night, the police allegedly showed up to do exactly that at the beauty mogul's festivities. At the time of writing, Kylie hasn't addressed or confirmed the alleged shut-down.
The celebration itself started with a sit-down dinner on Thursday evening and later transitioned into a full-blown b-day bash at a Los Angeles nightclub called Delilah. Obviously, the change in mood and venue required a wardrobe change for the birthday girl.
The second part of the night included a hot pink ballpit, color-coded cups, and a DJ wearing a shirt displaying Kylie's Forbes cover (y'know, the one that named her a self-made billionaire). Kylie's entire fam was in attendance, and other guests reportedly included Winnie Harlow, Jordyn Woods, and Dave Chappelle.
Luckily for Kylie, there's plenty of time to keep the party going — and she's even got a brand new makeup collection to celebrate. It just remains to be seen what the reality star does for her 22nd birthday...but it's bound to be pretty epic.
