La-Z-Boy shares slide as earnings fall short of estimates
Investing.com - La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE:LZB) shares were crashing during Tuesday’s after hours session as the company released its latest quarterly results, which missed expectations.
The company earned $0.21 per share in its first quarter, $0.08 per share below what analysts forecast. Revenue increased 4.8% year-over-year to $357.1 million but missed analysts’ expectations by $2.24 million.
Shares were sharply lower in reaction, down 13.6% at last check.
