We’ve seen Gaga, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, laid bare only a couple of times in the past: for special photo shoots and, most notably, in her 2017 documentary, Gaga: Five Foot Two.
Now, she’s changed her look once more for her new role in A Star Is Born, and she looks completely unrecognizable.
In the film’s posters, alongside her co-star Bradley Cooper, Gaga swaps out her peroxide blond hair for a mousy brown ‘do. As for her makeup, Gaga tones down her dramatic smoky eye for more neutral shadows — and wow.
Just take a look for yourself:
Stunning or what?
The musical romantic drama, which stars and is directed by Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper, follows the story of musician Jackson Maine (Cooper) and his chance meeting with aspiring musician Ally (Gaga), as he helps her to find her confidence onstage.
Gaga’s starring role will be her first in a feature-length film. The trailer will give you chills. Be prepared.
We’re majorly into this barely there makeup look on Gaga, and it seems we’re not the only ones.

I wanna see A Star is Born! Lady Gaga looks so beautiful in it. Prettiest I’ve ever seen her. She’s definitely a natural beauty!

I know the Blonde looks is your trademark, but you’re far more striking as a natural brunette.

Similarly, there has been a growing embrace of the makeup-free movement by celebrities, who have been posting their bare-faced selfies on social media.
