Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Williams (WMB): A block of 10,000 November 38 calls was bought for $0.57 as investors look for upside in the share price. WMB rose 1.11 percent to $32.83.

Neptune Technologies & Bioressources (:NEPT): Some 7,200 July 2.50 calls were bought, mostly for $0.90. Volume was below open interest at the strike, so an existing short position may have been closed. NEPT rose 1.23 percent to $3.29.

Mondelez International (:MDLZ): some 5,500 July 29 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.75, as investors look for upside in the food stock. MDLZ rose 3 percent to $29.39.

Micron Technology (MU): Some 8,500 July 14 puts were bought, mostly for $0.34 to $0.36, as investors brace for a pullback in the memory-chip maker. MU rose 1.08 percent to $14.49.
