Largest option buying in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Micron (MU): Some 26,000 January 2015 15 calls were purchased, mostly for $2.27. The January 2015 25s were also bought for $0.46. Both trades reflect long-term bullish sentiment toward the memory-chip maker. MU rose 0.77 percent to $13.17.

Intel (INTC): A block of 19,000 September 25 calls was purchased for $0.52 as investors look for the chip maker to rally. INTC rose 0.79 percent to $24.13.

Metlife (MET): More than 5,000 January 30 puts were bought, mostly for $0.29, but volume is below open interest at the strike. MET fell 0.70 percent to $48.20.
