Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Elan (ELN): Some 13,000 July 14 calls were traded for $0.40 as investors position for upside in the Irish drug maker. ELN fell 0.44 percent to $13.60.

Mondelez International (MDLZ): An investor bought 10,200 December 32 calls for $1.11 and 10,200 December 24 puts for $0.42. They also sold an equal number of December 28 puts. The resulting position cost $0.35 and is leveraged to upside in the food company. MDLZ rose 2.65 percent to $30.60.

Intel (INTC): Some 5,000 September 24 puts were bought for $0.77 as investors brace for a drop in the chip maker. INTC rose 1.65 percent to $25.33.
