Largest option buying in equities so far

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

Facebook (FB): Investors purchased about 20,000 39 calls expiring next Friday for $0.08, placing inexpensive bets that the social-media stock will rally in the near term. FB rose 0.46 percent to $31.22.

ConocoPhillips (COP): More than 26,000 March 62.50 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.30, as investors position for continued upside in the energy company. COP rose 0.23 percent to $60.55.

KeyCorp (KEY): An investor sold about 37,000 March 7 puts and bought an equal number of March 8 calls, but volume was below open interest in both. That suggests a protective collar trade was closed. KEY fell 0.65 percent to $9.18.
