Largest option trades in equities
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Amarin (AMRN): More than 12,000 October 9 calls were bought, mostly for $0.20 and $0.25, as investors look for upside in the drug maker. AMRN fell 4.51 percent to $6.13.
Sprint (S): Some 4,000 November 7 calls were bought for 0.11 but volume was below open interest at the strike. S fell 2.24 percent to $6.12.
Seagate Technology (STX): More than 8,000 October 40 puts were bought, mostly for $0.77, as investors brace for downside in the maker of computer disk drives. STX fell 1.85 percent to $40.63. (See related story )
