Largest option trades in equities
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Spectra Energy (SE): Some 3,100 January 37 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.25 and $0.30, as investors look for upside in the natural-gas company. SE fell 0.12 percent to $34.63. (See related story )
Range Resources (RRC): More than 2,200 November 85 calls were purchased, mostly for $0.60, as investors look for the energy stock to push higher. It followed similar buying yesterday. RRC fell 0.82 percent to $75.33.
Intrepid Potash (IPI): Some 2,600 December 12 puts were bought, mostly for $0.45, as investors braced for downside in the fertilizer stock. IPI rose 0.88 percent to $16.12.
