Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

VeriFone (PAY): An investor purchased about 5,500 February 27 calls for $1.90 and sold a matching number of March 29 calls for $1.60. Volume was below open interest in the February contracts, indicating that an existing short position was rolled forward in time and up in price. The investor probably owns shares. PAY fell 3.14 percent to $28.10.

Wisdom Tree India Earnings ETF (EPI): Some 30,000 June 15 puts were bought for $0.80 as investors brace for more downside in the fund. EPI fell 1.48 percent to $15.94.

Nucor (NUE): Some 5,000 April 49 calls were bought, mostly for $1.47, but volume was below open interest at the strike. NUE fell 2.54 percent to $47.12.
