Largest option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

National Bank of Greece (NBG): Investors bought more than 4,000 January 6 calls for $0.20 as investors continue to position for upside in the European lender. NBG rose 2.10 percent to $5.35.

Quanta Services (PWR): More than 4,000 November 30 calls were bought, most of which priced for $0.35, as investors look for upside in the engineering stock. PWR rose 1.28 percent to $28.44. (See related story )

SPDR Oil & Gas Exploration & Production Fund (XOP): Some 24,000 November 69 puts were bought for $0.93 and an equal number of November 63 puts was sold for $0.21. The vertical spread cost $0.72 to open, with potential profit of 733 percent on a drop to $63 by expiration. XOP rose 0.23 percent to $71.18.(See related story )
