Largest option trades in equities
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with the most call and put buying on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Radian Group (RDN): An investor bought 7,600 January 15 calls for $2.65 against open interest and sold 10,000 January 2016 20 calls for $1.90. He or she probably owns shares and is using the options as part of a covered-call strategy. RDN fell 1.36 percent to $15.55.
Twenty-First Century Fox (FOXA): Some 7,000 July 37 calls were bought, mostly for $0.80, as investors look for upside in the entertainment company. FOXA fell 0.55 percent to $33.60.
Coeur Mining (CDE): Some 10,000 September 10 puts were bought, mostly for $1, as investors look for downside in the silver producer. CDE fell 1.69 percent to $10.79.
