Lattice: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) _ Lattice Semiconductor Corp. (LSCC) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Portland, Oregon-based company said it had profit of 5 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, came to 11 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 10 cents per share.

The chipmaker posted revenue of $101.5 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Lattice said it expects revenue in the range of $93 million to $97 million.

Lattice shares have increased 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $7.07, a climb of 21 percent in the last 12 months.
