Laura Bush and Tim Tebow Set to Appear on HGTV's 'Fixer Upper'
The final season of Fixer Upper promised to feature several special guests and Laura Bush is on that list. The former First Lady will appear in an upcoming episode of HGTV's home renovation show on January 23, HGTV said in a press release.
In the episode, titled "A Modern Cabin Makeover," Chip and Joanna Gaines will fix up the Texas home of a metal artist named Jimmy Don Holmes. The pair will have a budget of $50,000-$70,000 to transform Holmes' tiny, outdated home into a rustic, mountain dream home, and according to the release, Bush will come in to add a "heartfelt finishing touch."
Bush shared a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of her time on the Fixer Upper set in July, which also featured her husband and former President George W. Bush.

"@jimmydon522 came to install his own work of art for @georgewbush's art studio. See Jimmy Don's work on @fixerupperhgtv!," she captioned the photo. Bush's episode is scheduled to air Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.
In a separate episode, Chip and Joanna will pull in a pro-athlete for reinforcements. According to HGTV, Tim Tebow will be featured in a special episode in which he, along with Chip and Jo, create a wheelchair accessible home for a family from the Tim Tebow Foundation.
"The Copps have two young boys in wheelchairs, and they've always wanted a home that allows the boys freedom to move in the space and handle daily tasks on their own," the release said.
In photos from the upcoming episode, below, the former NFL quarterback and current New York Mets outfielder is seen showing the young boys some of the renovations made on their new home.
Tebow's episode will air on January 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.
