Leslie Jones fires off P.O.'d tweet to the Honest Company and Jessica Alba

Leslie Jones is getting honest with the Honest Company: She’s really unhappy. The Emmy-nominated Saturday Night Live star just blasted the eco-friendly company and its founder, Jessica Alba, on Twitter.

Honest replied, “We’re so sorry your order was delayed. Our diaper cakes are handmade and can take 1-3 days to process. We value your feedback and we’re always looking for ways to improve. We appreciate your love for Honest – thank you for giving us the chance to make this right.”

That didn’t appease Jones who fired back, “next day air should not be a f****** option. it should be made clear that the order is sent after processing which you don’t do. It’s not overnight if it gets there in a week. you charging me damn near 50 dollars for. The last three orders were late. It wasn’t like that before.”

Alba, 37, also responded on Twitter.

Alba launched the wellness brand — with “values rooted in consciousness, community, transparency, and design,” according to the company’s website — in 2012. The L.A.’s Finest star not only is the founder but also serves as the “visionary leader,” guiding “overall strategy, creative marketing, and product innovation for Honest.”

Honest has had its fair share of negative press. Last summer, the company settled a class action claiming it misled buyers about ingredients in its laundry detergent and dish soap. The company maintained no wrongdoing. In 2015, Honest was sued by a customer who said the “natural” sunscreen didn’t work. The following year, the Organic Consumers Association alleged that Honest baby formula contained ingredients that aren’t really organic, but the suit was dismissed. In 2017, product recalls were also an issue.

“We know that there is an unprecedented amount of attention in both our company and our products and unlike many other companies, we live out every single moment in the press,” Honest told CNNMoney via email last year.

Yahoo Lifestyle reached out to Honest for comment on the Jones matter but did not immediately receive a response.
