Levels down slightly as indexes fall

The major US Indexes were all lower at the end of the day, despite climbing all afternoon off the worst levels of the session.

The S&P 500 recovered the most, finishing down 2.26 points or 0.16 percent, to 1403.28. It traded as as low as 1392 in the late morning and climbed from there.

The Russell 2000 saw similar action, dipping below 823 and then climbing to 832.22, down 2.23 points or 0.27 percent. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.32 percent to close at 2762.05, amid a decline of 1.26 percent by Apple.

S&P 500

    Resistance is now 1420, then 1440.
    Support is now 1403, followed by 1397 and then 1387.

Nasdaq 100

    Resistance is now 2794, followed by 2800.
    Support is now 2755, followed by 2747 and then 2720.

Russell 2000

    Resistance is now 833, followed by 848.
    Support is now 823, followed by 816.
