WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 2, 2012) - Eileen Gould, owner of the Westlake Village design-build firm Lifestyles Interior Design and Construction, today announced completion of Keller Williams' new 14,000 square foot, state-of-the-art commercial office on Russell Ranch Road. The innovative design for the Arden-owned commercial property includes several unique features not usually found in commercial realty. It boasts a high-tech training room that accommodates 60+ agents, a "Green Room" where agents can produce professional videos to market their listings, and a 'think tank' area where agents can discuss properties and review floor plans.

The overall project, which was completed in five week's time, incorporated carpeting, wood flooring, a reception area, built-in office spaces, countertops, lighting, furniture, fabrics, plants, artwork, and exposed ceilings for the 14,000 sq. ft. office space.

"Our objective," says Ms. Gould, "was to create a contemporary-style, state-of-the-art 'think tank' environment for Keller Williams with several, distinct, custom-designed office spaces to accommodate both their growing company and their commercial, mortgage and escrow divisions. We designed many different functional spaces using the latest technology and 'green design' wherever possible.

"This project challenged me to think outside of the box. Overall, we were able to design and implement all of the project goals, ahead of schedule and under budget, giving the agents plenty of time to move into their larger, expanded office space by the move-in date."

Ms. Gould describes the Keller Williams' office style as contemporary Southern California with an edgy Westside New York feel. To create the New York aura, she exposed ceilings in many areas then tinted pipes, air ducts and venting with a warm, chocolate brown hue.

With the floor plan requiring functional, inviting areas that served separate functions, Eileen designed several open areas for groupings of agents' workstations, each with a specialized look and extra features to make it 'pop.'

Other open areas were created for agent/customer meetings and agent-agent work areas to discuss specific projects and review floor plans. Additionally, a cappuccino/tea bar was built to allow for more casual meetings or light interviews.

Using the Keller Williams branded look throughout the project, Lifestyles Interior Design utilized a large amount of dark wood contrasting it with a grayish wood laminate floor and countertops of slate material. For the kitchen, a red laminate counter top was used to match the Keller/Sherman Williams red.

The Keller Williams Westlake Village office franchise is owned by Terry Moerler and presently staffed by 190 agents.
