It's been more than 30 years since "The Terminator" was first released in theaters, and perhaps you began to think you'd never see Linda Hamilton reprise her role as Sarah Connor.
But no need to worry. She'll be back.
The actress, now 60, is returning to the iconic franchise for the upcoming reboot, and nobody's more excited than director James Cameron, who -- incidentally -- is Hamilton's ex-husband. "As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it's going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she's become return," Cameron reportedly told guests at a recent event.
Since her big-screen breakout in 1984, Hamilton has gone brunette, gone back to blonde, and tried out some pretty wild fashion styles -- and she might just look better than ever in 2017.
Although she's best known for her "Terminator" role, Hamilton has appeared in countless TV shows and movies over the years. The sixth "Terminator" will reunite Hamilton, Schwarzenegger and Cameron for what's expected to be a major blockbuster in 2019.
