Lindsay: Fiscal 4Q Earnings Snapshot

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) _ Lindsay Corp. (LNN) on Thursday reported fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $5 million.

On a per-share basis, the Omaha, Nebraska-based company said it had profit of 46 cents. Earnings, adjusted for pretax gains, were 42 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 85 cents per share.

The irrigation equipment maker posted revenue of $123.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $20.3 million, or $1.88 per share. Revenue was reported as $547.7 million.

Lindsay shares have risen nearly 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 6 percent in the last 12 months.
