Little Caesars Is Bringing Back Its Deep Dish Pizza That's Wrapped With 3.5 Feet Of Bacon
It's official, Little Caesars is bringing back one of its most beloved menu items: the Bacon-Wrapped Deep! Deep! Dish Pizza. And yes, it's as outrageous as it sounds. After launching in 2015, the specialty crust has garnered a dedicated following, mainly because it's wrapped in 3.5 feet of bacon!!!!
At the time of its debut, president and CEO David Scrivano called the addition an "example of how we're continuing to innovate and offer variety on our menu while fully leveraging our core strengths built around value, convenience, and quality." Now the Bacon-Wrapped Deep! Deep! Dish-yes, that's the official title-will return in time for March Madness on March 22. What would a watch party be without a bacon-wrapped pizza that's topped with, yep, more bacon!
But alas, customers will once again have to jump on the offer as it's only available for a temporary return. Trust us, you'll want to get in on the action. The Detroit-style deep dish doesn't earn its acclaim for the obscene amount of bacon alone. It's also really, really large. The more the merrier, ya know? And though you still have a few more days before the official relaunch, customers can download and order through the app starting now.
"It's no surprise that customers emphatically asked us to bring back the bacon," Ed Gleich, senior vice president of global marketing for Little Caesars said in a statement Tuesday. "We're very excited to offer early access to customers who have downloaded our Little Caesars app, which is really easy and fun to use."
