Winners and losers

Stocks in the red include Fluor as the infrastructure name missed badly on earnings and reported full-year EPS guidance that was wide of the mark; Adverum, as the gene therapy company’s CEO, Amber Salzman, is stepping down; and Gogo, with shares dropping as the inflight broadband provider that everyone loves to hate revealed in its earnings call that it would no longer issue cash flow guidance and it may be impacted by Chinese tech partner ZTE’s troubles with the Department of Commerce.

Stocks in the green include Shake Shack as a stronger than expected first quarter sent shares soaring; Sarepta Therapeutics as analysts see the biotech name’s gene therapy products as ahead of its rivals; and CBS, with shares of the network beating on both the top and bottom lines as it saw an uptick in ad sales and growth in its streaming service.
