Loncor Stock Option Grants

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 12, 2012) - Loncor Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "Loncor") (TSX VENTURE:LN)(NYSE MKT:LON)(NYSE Amex:LON) announces that it has granted to employees, directors and consultants of the Company, pursuant to the terms of the Company's stock option plan, a total of 1,790,000 stock options, each such stock option entitling the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of Cdn$1.05 for a period of five years.

Loncor is a Canadian gold exploration company focused on two projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ("DRC") - the Ngayu and North Kivu projects. The Company has exclusive gold rights to an area covering 2,087 km2 of the Ngayu Archaean greenstone belt in Orientale province in the northeast DRC and is its main focus of exploration.
