Mac DeMarco Confirms New Album in 2019, Announces North American Tour
Mac DeMarco has confirmed that he will release a new album in 2019. “This will be the debut release on Mac’s Record Label (more details still to come),” reads a press release. The singer-songwriter has also announced a slew of new tour dates for the new year, which kick off after his appearances at this year’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April. The first show on the tour will be at the Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma, California, on May 7. Other cities on the itinerary include Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Toronto, Cleveland, Chicago, and more. Find the full schedule here and below.
Mac’s most recent album This Old Dog was released in 2017. Last year, he announced his record label and went on his first-ever solo tour without his backing band. In December, he shared his cover of “The Christmas Song.”
