VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ MAG Silver Corp. (MAG) on Thursday reported a loss of $50.3 million in its fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 62 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 4 cents per share.
The silver mining company posted revenue of $351,000 in the period.
For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $55.8 million, or 71 cents per share.
MAG Silver shares have climbed 22 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.44, a climb of 40 percent in the last 12 months.
