This Man Is Going Viral for Shaving His Head on a Flight
Air travel is awful for a litany of reasons, from the very serious Boeing 787 controversy to all the not-as-serious canned air can dry out your skin. And of course, our fellow humans rarely fail to make the experience even more unbearable.
As captured by the Instagram account Passenger Shaming and posted to Yahoo Lifestyle, one bald man on a recent United Airlines flight took it upon himself to shave his head with a handheld electric shaver mid-flight.
Judging by the video, he appears to have been in first class, so we'll assume this was an important businessman without a moment of downtime in his hotel room for a more private haircut...or even the spare seconds it would have taken to walk to the airport bathroom pre-flight to cueball himself in private.
Commenters are dragging this makeshift stylist in the comments. As one commenter wrote, "absolutely disgusting 🤮! Get in a BATHROOM for GOD sake!" Another added, "You can buy business, but you can't get class."
According to the TSA, though this man has some personal space issues, but he's not technically breaking any rules. Electric razors are indeed allowed in checked bags and on flights. Gents, we respect your baldies — but please, next time, hold off on shaving until after you've left the airport.
