FAIRPORT, N.Y. (AP) _ Manning & Napier Inc. (MN) on Wednesday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $366,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Fairport, New York-based company said it had a loss of 2 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 5 cents per share.
The investment management firm posted revenue of $32.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $1.4 million, or 9 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $136 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.92. A year ago, they were trading at $2.29.
