HERNDON, Va. (AP) _ ManTech International Corp. (MANT) on Wednesday reported first-quarter earnings of $21.1 million.
The Herndon, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 53 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 53 cents per share.
The defense contractor posted revenue of $501.9 million in the period, which did not meet Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $506.8 million.
ManTech expects full-year earnings to be $2.21 to $2.33 per share, with revenue in the range of $2.13 billion to $2.21 billion.
ManTech shares have climbed 19% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $62.18, a climb of slightly more than 7% in the last 12 months.
