FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) _ ManTech International Corp. (MANT) on Wednesday reported first-quarter earnings of $15 million.
On a per-share basis, the Fairfax, Virginia-based company said it had net income of 39 cents.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 35 cents per share.
The defense contractor posted revenue of $418.4 million in the period, also surpassing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $402.2 million.
ManTech expects full-year earnings to be $1.44 to $1.52 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.65 billion to $1.7 billion.
ManTech shares have decreased 13 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $36.77, an increase of 7 percent in the last 12 months.
