(MRNS), (“Marinus” or the “Company”) today announced that it intends to offer and sell 12,000,000 shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by Marinus. Jefferies LLC and Leerink Partners LLC are acting as joint bookrunning managers for the offering. Marinus also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,800,000 shares of common stock.
