EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) _ A-Mark Precious Metals Inc. (AMRK) on Thursday reported a loss of $823,000 in its fiscal fourth quarter.
The El Segundo, California-based company said it had a loss of 12 cents per share.
The precious metals trading company posted revenue of $850.2 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $2.2 million, or 31 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $4.78 billion.
A-Mark shares have risen 17% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $13.77, an increase of slightly more than 2% in the last 12 months.
