‘Marvel’s Iron Fist’ Season 2 Trailer: Glowing Hands Get Bloody as Danny Finds New Enemies
And so we’ve come to Danny. While we wait for the last of the central quartet to get their post-“Defenders” standalone season (“Daredevil” Season 3 should be on its way later this year), Mr. Rand is about to get his time in the Marvel spotlight with the sophomore season of “Iron Fist.”
Netflix released the trailer for “Iron Fist” Season 2 Thursday, which finds Danny (Finn Jones) facing his biggest challenge yet. No, not planning a date night with Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick), but overcoming the wrath of Davos (Sacha Dhawan). Judging by the amount of hand-to-hand combat teased here, Davos isn’t the only one after the power in Danny’s extremities.
One thing this preview is still keeping under wraps is Season 2’s biggest addition. Expect more of incoming cast member Alice Eve’s mysterious new character when the full season drops early next month. Aside from Colleen (who gets a chance to show off her own skills here), Season 2 also brings back Season 1 mainstays Tom Pelphrey as Ward and Jessica Stroup as Joy.
