TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Matrix Service Co. (MTRX) on Wednesday reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $28 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had a loss of $1.04. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and pretax expenses, were 19 cents per share.
The energy services company posted revenue of $318.7 million in the period.
Matrix Service expects full-year earnings in the range of 70 cents to 90 cents per share.
Matrix Service shares have decreased 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $19.85, a fall of 11% in the last 12 months.
