Mattel (MAT) and Time Warner's (TWX) Warner Bros. Consumer Products division said they've signed a multiyear renewal of a deal that lets Mattel create toys based on DC Comics characters, such as Superman, appearing in Warner Bros. films. Fin'l terms weren't disclosed. Shares of Mattel, which has been DC's master toy licensee for 15 years, fell 0.9% to 38.52. Time Warner fell 0.8% to 68.37.
