MONROE, Mich. (AP) _ MBT Financial Corp. (MBTF) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $6.3 million.
The bank, based in Monroe, Michigan, said it had earnings of 27 cents per share.
The bank holding company for Monroe Bank & Trust posted revenue of $16.9 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $16.3 million, surpassing Street forecasts.
MBT shares have risen 11% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $10.30, a fall of 10% in the last 12 months.
