SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ McClatchy Co. (MNI) on Friday reported third-quarter net income of $7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Sacramento, California-based company said it had net income of 90 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $3.03 per share.
The media company and owner of The Kansas City Star posted revenue of $191.1 million in the period.
McClatchy shares have fallen 22 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 23 percent in the last 12 months.
