HOUSTON (AP) _ McDermott International Inc. (MDR) on Monday reported a third-quarter loss of $1.87 billion, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of $10.37 per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, were $1.80 per share.
The maker of offshore drilling platforms posted revenue of $2.12 billion in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company's shares hit $1.73. A year ago, they were trading at $8.73.
