Nathan was previously the corporation's Vice-President, Technology and will be taking over the responsibilities of Ian Ball, former President.

He has held senior technical roles with Barrick Gold, Falconbridge Limited and Noranda Inc. Nathan holds a Ph.D in Metallurgy and Materials Science from The University of Toronto and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario. He is the current VP International of the CIM (Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum) and a Past-President of MetSoc (Metallurgy and Materials Society).
