CUSO introduces new C-suite position to enhance focus on client service
Member Driven Technologies (MDT), a CUSO that hosts the Episys® core platform from Symitar® to provide a private cloud alternative for core processing and IT needs, today announced that Gary Lee, former vice president of client relations and sales, has been promoted to chief client officer. This position has been created to reinforce and deepen the company’s dedication to exceptional client service, a strategic priority for MDT.
Lee joined MDT in the client services department in 2009 and has worked his way up in the company since. He has served in various client-facing and leadership roles including client relationship manager, manager of national sales, and most recently, vice president of client relations and sales. As chief client officer, Lee will oversee all aspects of the relationship between credit union clients and MDT.
“Over the past decade, I’ve greatly enjoyed being a part of the MDT team, serving as an advocate for our credit union clients and helping them successfully leverage technology to boost efficiencies and elevate the member experience,” said Lee. “I look forward to taking on this new role and continuing to help credit unions improve their members’ financial wellness and support their communities.”
Of MDT’s four strategic drivers – service, security, people and growth – service has always been the top priority. As chief client officer, Lee’s responsibilities will include maintaining a corporate approach that promotes client retention and satisfaction, creating a single vision across all client interactions and ensuring that all client questions, problems and suggestions are effectively and promptly addressed.
“Client service is our primary focus and differentiator, which is why we have decided to give this critical aspect of our organization even more representation among leadership,” said Larry Nichols, CEO and president of MDT. “Gary has contributed immensely to MDT’s success over the past 10 years; his expertise and ability to form meaningful relationships with our credit union clients is unparalleled. We are excited for him to embrace this new role and help drive our client service initiatives and philosophy forward.”
