OTTAWA, ON, June 7, 2022 /CNW/ - The Honourable David Lametti, P.C., Q.C., Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, and the Honourable Marc Miller, P.C., Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations, will make an announcement regarding the Government of Canada's efforts to support Indigenous communities across the country in addressing address the ongoing legacy of residential schools.

The $4.8 billion would surpass the $4 billion electric vehicle maker VinFast is set to invest in its plant announced in late March for the other megasite in Chatham County, the Triangle Innovation Point, formerly known as the Moncure Megasite.

    New U.S. data for May showed little immediate relief from the record pace of inflation pushing the Federal Reserve toward another oversized interest rate increase next month, but it did add to a developing sense that the worst may be over.
