Media Advisory - Ministers Mendicino and Joly to make an announcement about protecting Canadians from gun violence

OTTAWA, ON, Aug. 4, 2022 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, and the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to make an announcement on the government's ongoing efforts to keep our communities safe from gun violence.

They will be joined by Yvan Baker, Member of Parliament for Etobicoke Centre, Ontario.

Following the announcement, Ministers Mendicino and Joly will take questions from the media.
