In line with updated COVID-19 guidelines regarding operations, GlobalMedic, has established new safety protocols and processes to allow for the distribution of free laundry services and supplies to those who have been impacted by the disaster, while keeping staff and beneficiaries at sites protected.
The recent floods have devastated multiple communities across the province and have displaced approximately 18,000 residents from their homes, leaving them without basic needs and resources. Tide has a history of giving back to the communities where we live and work, and we want to provide the comforts of home to those who need it most. These services are free and available to people affected by the disaster and the volunteers who are helping to respond.
Tide is partnering with GlobalMedic to provide free, full-service laundry at Downtown McCleaners (437 Seymour St, Kamloops, BC V2C 2G7).
