NEW YORK, NY (September 9, 2013) - Medley Capital Corporation (the "Company") (MCC) announced the closing of its registered public offering of 6,900,000 shares of its common stock, which includes the full exercise of the underwriters` option to purchase an additional 900,000 shares, at a public offering price of $13.00 per share. The Company raised approximately $86.4 million in net proceeds after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to fund new investment opportunities, to repay the outstanding indebtedness under its credit facility, and for general corporate purposes.
Goldman, Sachs & Co., Barclays Capital Inc., Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are acting as joint book-running managers. BB&T Capital Markets, a division of BB&T Securities, LLC, Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. and Maxim Group LLC are acting as co-managers.
