Meet the Jonas Brothers fan whose crazy concert dancing went viral: 'They mean the world to me'

Cam Wood is definitely a Jonas Brothers superfan.

She's gone to over a dozen of their concerts over 10 years. She went to the Jonas Brothers Fiserv Forum concert on Tuesday, and plans to see them three more times before their "Happiness Begins" tour is over.

And then, the Jonas Brothers solidified Wood's fandom when they tweeted the video of her — as she describes it — "losing my mind" during the Milwaukee concert.

"Best. Fans. In. The. World. Thanks for a fun night Milwaukee!" the Jonas Brothers tweeted, with a video of Wood.

"It's surreal," said the superfan from the Chicago area. "Truthfully, none of it has been able to process with me yet."

Wood wasn't just putting on a show for the camera. She was going crazy the entire time.

After the concert, Wood tweeted a video of herself dancing. Strangers noticed her energy, too.

Wood noticed the tour videographer was capturing her moves but didn't think much of it.

"The videographer gave me a guitar pick and I thought that was that, but then I go to Twitter and see this video of me losing my mind," she said.

Her first concert was the Jonas Brothers in 2008, when her dad drove 14 hours to Pennsylvania because she missed their Chicago show.

Her dad was there Tuesday night, of course, along with her friend Ashley Evers, who lives in Milwaukee.

Aside from other Jonas Brothers full-band shows, Wood has gone to solo shows of members Nick and Joe. The Milwaukee show was the first time she had seen the band together since 2012.

"When they announced their comeback I was in shock ... I never thought I would be able to see them together again," she said.

The 20-year-old has become a concert fanatic since her first Jonas Brothers show. She is taking some time off from school but hopes to go back to study music business.

"They’re my favorite band, and growing up with something so important to me that started my passion, it means the world," she said. "They mean the world to me."

Wood also has some advice for other concert-goers.

"It's important to note that you're allowed to enjoy a concert however you want, but it’s a lot more fun when you put your phone down and you're in the moment," she said.
