Meghan Markle showing no signs of slowing down during her South Pacific tour. Earlier today, the Duchess of Sussex joined Prince Harry for a few engagements in Sydney, beginning with a visit to the city’s beautiful Bondi Beach. There, she met members of OneWave, a local nonprofit surf group that raises awareness about mental health issues, for an “Anti-Bad Vibes” circle to discuss the importance of psychological well being. The surfers chose to don their standard “Fluoro Friday” ensembles of neon wetsuits and sunblock, while Markle had her own take on good vibes apparel: A striped Martin Grant dress, Karen Walker earrings, and Castañer espadrilles that she cast off before hitting the beach. Grant is an Australian designer, Walker is New Zealand-based, and Castañer is one of the oldest Spanish makers of espadrilles in the world.

Markle’s subdued, striped dress was a refined take on typical beachwear and a cool alternative to the body-skimming sheaths the Duchess favors for most royal engagements. (It’s also a perfectly regal way to upgrade the baggies and boho dresses you might typically see on the shores of Bondi or the nearby Icebergs pool.) What’s more is that the striped pattern—whether Markle was aware of it or not—couldn’t have been more suited to the idea of an Anti-Bad Vibes discussion circle. For almost a decade, the Australian surfer and artist Ozzie Wright has made paintings of an anti-bad vibes shield outlined in rainbow stripes.

In the circle, Markle spoke about her love of yoga—she admitted to practicing at 4:30 a.m. that morning—and discussed her pregnancy with onlookers. Sounds like a day full of pretty good vibes, indeed.
