Meghan Markle Just Joked That She's "Very Pregnant Today"

From Harper's BAZAAR

Meghan Markle joked that she felt "very pregnant" during her visit to Brinsworth House, a nursing home supported by Royal Variety Charity, today. While chatting to one of the residents, the Duchess of Sussex said she's "very good," then she touched her baby bump and added, "I'm very pregnant today," with a laugh.

Meghan also asked the resident if she had any kids, but she replied, "No, I had a career." The duchess answered, "Yes, that I understand." She built a career as an actress prior to marrying into the royal family in May.

The duchess is due to welcome her first child with husband Prince Harry in the spring. Her pregnancy was announced in mid-October, just as the couple began their royal tour of the Pacific. Despite carrying out 76 engagements during the 16 day trip, Meghan was full of energy. She told one well-wisher that she's "running on adrenaline" days after her baby news went public, according to Entertainment Tonight.

It's still unknown whether Meghan and Harry are having a boy or a girl, which isn't unusual for royal couples. Prince William and Kate Middleton didn't announce the sex of their children before they were born.

Meghan's baby bump was visible during her Brinsworth House visit, as she dressed in a figure-hugging midi dress by Brock Collection with a square neckline, ruched cap sleeves, and a muted floral print. She paired her go-to Aquazzura pumps with the romantic look, and wrapped up in a gray wool coat by Soia & Kyo while entering and leaving the home.

During her trip, Meghan also unveiled a plaque commemorating her visit.
