Meghan Markle is Reportedly Heading to London for Some Private Patronage Visits

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be making their way back to England after a brief period away in early March. While they're there, it looks like Meghan will be spending some time attending to some "private" duties.

According to Harper's Bazaar, Meghan will be in London sans Harry, as he will be spending time hosting a summit on behalf of the Travalyst initiative for sustainable tourism in Scotland before heading over to join her. Meghan will reportedly be spending that time taking care of some business on her own.

"Meghan will be conducting something private and patronage-related meetings during her time in London," a source told Harper's Bazaar. This isn't anything particularly new for the Duchess, as she has been known to make private calls on patronages in the past, such as when she made a quick run to Mayhew, an important animal welfare organization, before heading off to Canada to begin her new life.

RELATED: Is This Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's New Brand Name?

This is the latest update on Meghan and Harry's plans to step down as senior members of the royal family. The pair will also be starting a non-profit organization once the transition is complete.

It looks like their new brand name could very well be "Sussex Global Charities," if a new domain registered by Meghan's BFF Jessica Mulroney is to be believed. The pair have shared their thoughts on having to change their brand name from one including the term "royal" in the past via statement, which was quite strongly worded.

"While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020."

It isn't clear exactly whether the new name is official just yet, but we'll hopefully know more about that in the coming weeks – likely when we're privy to exactly what kind of private business Meghan will be up to.
