Meridian Waste Solutions Strengthens its Sales Distribution Network with Acquisition of DxT Medical

ATLANTA, GA / ACCESSWIRE / October 23, 2017 / Meridian Waste Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN) ("Meridian Waste" or the "Company"), a vertically integrated, non-hazardous solid waste services company, announced today its closing of an acquisition of DxT Medical, LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company that owns and operates a national healthcare distribution business.

The all-stock transaction for DxT Medical was valued at $462,000 and comprised of 350,000 restricted shares of Meridian Waste Solutions valued at $1.32 per share.

DxT Medical will operate within and strengthen Meridian Waste's technology division, Mobile Science Technologies. The sales team and distribution network will seek to accelerate the sales of the Bright City App, a key part of Meridian Waste's technology division. The strategy of building indelible ties between local governments, their healthcare systems and an engaged citizenship is key to bridging the needs of rural, suburban and urban communities creating healthier, informed and unified societies.
