Mexican finance ministry sees 4.6% GDP growth in 2021

MEXICO CITY, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Economic growth of 4.6% is feasible in 2021 depending on the speed of the COVID-19 vaccine roll out, Mexico's deputy finance minister said on Friday, after data showing the economy suffered its worst recession since the 1930s last year.

Deputy Finance Minister Gabriel Yorio added that Finance Minister Arturo Herrera was likely to speak to his U.S. counterpart, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, on Tuesday to discuss trade, migration and monetary policy matters. (Reporting by Frank Jack Daniel; Editing by David Alire Garcia)
